4.1 ভূমিকা (Introduction)

ইংৰাজী ভাষাত একেটা Noun বাৰে বাৰে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিলে বাক্যটো অসুবিধাজনক আৰু পুনৰুক্তিমূলক হৈ পৰে। এই সমস্যা দূৰ কৰিবলৈ Noun ৰ ঠাইত ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয় Pronoun (সৰ্বনাম)।

অসমীয়া ভাষাতো “সৰ্বনাম” একেই কাম কৰে। যেনে—

ৰাজু এজন ভাল ল’ৰা। সি পঢ়া ভাল পায়।

ইয়াত “সি” শব্দটো “ৰাজু”ৰ ঠাইত ব্যৱহাৰ হৈছে।

Definition:
Noun ৰ ঠাইত ব্যৱহৃত শব্দক Pronoun বোলা হয়।
